So we wait. A child will be born. Hope will return to the world. Suffering, even genocide will follow. Then, after a period of longing, a child will be born.
Without children, there is no hope for the future. Without women, there are no children! In the absence of peace, everyone suffers.
One would be hard pressed to overstate the influence of visionary experience on Native peoples in the Americas. The same might be said for the impact of Jesus, and to a lesser extent, Christianity.
