Advent and End-Times

Today is the first day of Advent and this evening is the first night of Hanukah. It is a wet day, warm for the season, the damp slowly eating away at the snow pack. Here and there areas of bare grass have come into view.

Rainy September Afternoon
A rainy, cool day; the furnace came on briefly during the night. Autumn has descended on Vermont although here by the lake green remains the dominant color. Still, in bright evening light the trees now take on a markedly yellow tint.
