Late Winter Day
Today has been a classic late winter’s day. There is snow on the ground and the sun casts long shadows through the forest and provides respit from the frosty breeze. Venture back into the shade and the day seems chill indeed. Snow and rain tomorrow, bridging to a mild week.

Approaching Thanksgiving
A cool, dark, dampish day with rain on the way. The last couple of storms stripped the leaves from the trees but did not break the drought. We used the relative warmth of the day to put up some of our outdoor holiday decorations which we will now enjoy, as we can see them…

November Afternoon
A warm, wet day, surprisingly winter dark in the mid-afternoon. Our recent rains have dampened the intensity of the drought, although the drought remains significant. The rains have also stripped the leaves from the trees, leaving the landscape in winter form.
