Today marks the Autumn Equinox, when we acknowledge Grandmother Water, to whom we owe our very lives. We are also now reminded of the power of shared Dreaming, which offers to guide us to the very Hear of Pachamama. This year, our hearts go out to the many people around the world who are standing together to protect our Waters from the ravages of greed and indifference. We are grateful to all of those who risk much so that life may continue on our fragile blue-green planet.
We feel blessed to have had the company of those who came to our home early this morning to acknowledge the day, offer ceremony, and share breakfast. It was an early start to the day, and a lovely time of gratitude and remembrance.
May this day bring you joy, companionship, and hope, and may balance return to our lives, communities, and world.
I found the following video very moving…
Protectors not Protesters.
Michael,
I had been searching for your blog, because I know that you always have something uplifting or meaningful to say. I seriously need that. I haven’t posted anything on my blog for months. Creativity suffers greatly when problems arise (in my case anyway). On top of moving and everything else, I was recently in a car accident. I was knocked out for about 20 minutes– first time this has ever happened to me. I saw nothing, no angels, I didn’t ‘hover’ over the scene…Just nothing. Someone recently told me that God has just been trying to capture my attention (because I’m still alive). Actually, I think there are probably gentler ways to capture a person’s attention. Sigh.
Mary, I hope you are continuing to heal!
