  1. I noticed the same regarding foliage color also. While driving through some Faribault neighborhoods last evening as the sky was beginning to darken, I noticed how bright the colors against the gray. Keep delighting in these days.

    1. Yes, when conditions are just right the contrast can set off a magnificent display of color. Magic!

  2. As the foliage grows thinner, those few bits of colour appear more radiant. Or maybe it’s that they are more appreciated. I hope your birds weather the storm well. They seem so resilient but I always worry about them in bad weather.

    1. I think the storm was less intense than forecast. Today is very windy and the small ones seem to still be taking shelter. I imagine they can still feed.

  3. I am transported to your autumn.

Singapore does not have the chill, damp and grey of your fall, although we have much rain as well. Thank you for sharing a glimpse of your journey.

    1. Thank you! I am feeling much gratitude for your kind words.
I have found that everywhere I go in the world, the natural world provides beauty.
I have not been to Singapore, although I would very much like to go. I now have a very strict
limit to how much time I can be on a plane, so Asia is off limits….

  4. It looks like you have wonderful colours in your part of the country. I always like to be reminded of Robert Frost. Very fine report.
