Still cold. We awoke to bright, midwinter sun that threw beams of light and shadow across the landscape. The birds are flocking to the feeders, replenishing the nutrients that are used up so very quickly in this intense chill.
I like to think that most New Years Days are filled with hope. Somehow we survive, and often thrive, even in the face of great hardship. Perhaps this knowing that we persist is the great gift of our beloved elders.
May the year to come bring you and yours health, comfort, and much joy, and may we join together in communities that nurture the lives of all beings.
Happy New Year to you and yours, Michael!
Thank you Michael, may 2018 bring you and your family much happiness and many blessings :o)
I feel optimism in that we will see more needed change in 2018, Michael. The chaos is a sign it’s coming. Much love and blessings. XOX
Oh, Lara, I so hope you are right!
