Tides

low_tideThe past couple of weeks have been complex. We had some time on holiday, and lost a beloved family member who had chosen hospice. We sat bedside vigil, and watched whales and seals, osprey and eagles feed. We gathered with family to say goodby, and found ourselves reminded yet again to treasure these moments of life. In the midst of all this, I find myself, temporarily, at a loss for words, and that, too, seems OK.

  1. Your picture says a thousand words, as does the concept ‘Tides’. May all beings be free from suffering. *hugs*

  2. Yes, sometimes we need words but there are also times when we just need to let things be as they are, silently. So sorry for your loss.

  3. Sending you hugs and healing thoughts, Michael ❤

  4. Sorry to hear of your loss.

    1. Thanks, Rob. As these things often go, the process of saying goodbye will be lengthy.

  5. Sorry for your loss Michael. It is never easy to say goodbye.

    1. Thank you, Irene. I think his death was as about as good a death as we get. Mixed feelings for sure.
