The past few evenings have featured a parade of remarkable sunsets. Standing on the overlook near our home, we are able to see an expanse of sky over the lake. We show up and watch, spellbound.
I am focused on bringing the camera, so, of course, I forget to bring tobacco. Soon several others are standing with me. We are each entranced, yet able to share words as well as the quiet of the moment. When we walk home together we scroll back through images on the camera.
We are enjoying one another. This is a Holy moment, this time of enjoying. I hope the Ancestors and Holy Ones are listening.
