We don’t often post events and classes to the blog. That said, here are two events coming up next week:
Ancestors Gathering
Thursday November 1st, 6:30 p.m.
Join us for our annual acknowledgement of the Days of the Dead, the Ancestors, and our loved ones, human and other, who have traveled to the Spirit world. Bring a vegetarian dish or non-alcoholic beverage, one your Ancestors would enjoy, and some flowers to share. We will invite the Ancestors to be among us for a while, provide them food and flowers, and offer healing to any who desire it. We’ll provide candles and plates for the altar. Free!
What The Spirits Want: An Introduction to Working With Ancestors and Spirits
Saturday, November 3rd, 9:30 a.m. – Noon
Throughout the Northern Hemisphere people have traditionally believed the Ancestors and Spirits are very close during the late Fall and Winter months. In this workshop we will explore our relationships to the Ancestors and Spirits, and what they may wish from us. We will also discuss ways of managing our relationships with the Spirit world so that they, and we, are pleased. $35. Partial scholarships available.
